Russian spies probably weren’t responsible for this one, but there’s no question that Tyler, the Creator’s Instagram account was hacked last night (July 5).
One of the images that was posted featured a man holding a gun and wearing a belt on his forehead. In addition, several posts directed users to follow social media accounts Tyler has nothing to do with.
When he found out about the hack, Tyler confirmed the news on Twitter. “Lowkey insta got hacked, idk whats next so yeah,” he wrote, seemingly unperturbed by the intrusion. At the same time, he admitted he wasn’t sure what to do.
“Deadass dont know how to get back in there and dont care as much as i wouldve like a while back so yeah it’ll figure itself out.”
The Instagram posts and Tyler’s replies on Twitter have since been removed.
